NHS Big Tea Party
BackOn the 15th July the whole of Year 7 at Abbs Cross celebrated the 73rd Anniversary of the National Health Service, by having a “Big Tea Party”.
This was part of a wider national celebration to mark the anniversary, and the students of Year 7 firmly embraced the concept. Students gathered under the canopy close to the English and Humanities block, and enjoyed an array of tea, cakes and soft drinks, whilst engaging in a very challenging quiz on the NHS itself. In the process, the students raised in excess of £330 for the NHS, and huge thanks must go to the students, and their families, in making this happen.
Thank you so much and thank you to our NHS heroes.
