Tuesday:
Business and Enterprise Day
Students were tasked with creating and launching a sustainable activewear product and brand. Each team had a sub team where research, design, advertising, costing and business planning was completed. We were fortunate to be supported by guests from the sports and fashions industry – Natalia Morris (Fitflop), Catherina Karalis (Rapha) and Audrey Vincent (Asos).
As well as supporting the groups throughout the day, these guests also acted as our judges for the teams final pitches.
All students were professional and excellent team members throughout the day, showing creativity and commitment to the task.
Well done to the winners who pitched a trainer that was designed for maintenance, allowing worn out parts to be replaced, reducing the need for raw materials and extending the products life cycle.
Wednesday:

Students attended five workshops focused on writing a personal statement, interview
techniques, personal finance, soft skills and recording employment skills in Unifrog.
Students were fortunate to have sessions delivered by Coventry University and London School of Management Education (LSME).
Students gained a lot form the experience and are prepared to start their college applications and careers after leaving school.
Thursday:
Futures Day
Students individually opted to attend five presentations, delivered by representatives from fifteen different industries. These included jobs in healthcare, law, IT, the armed forces and many more.
Feedback form the day was fantastic, with students enthused form the opportunities
available to them in the future.
