Year 7 Havering Sports Leadership Academy
BackAbbs Cross Academy has enrolled into the Havering Sports Collective Leadership Academy.
The Leadership Academy aims to develop the leadership and communication skills of students through assisting in the organisation and running of various sporting competitions in the Havering Borough. The department nominates students who show outstanding enthusiasm and leadership attributes in their PE lessons and at extra-curricular clubs. There are various training opportunities at Stubbers outdoor education centre for students to attend. This is an excellent opportunity for our students to further develop their leadership and communication skills.
