No Pens Day
BackOn Friday 1st December, Year 7 and Year 8 students took part in 'No Pens Day' in their English lessons, supporting Speech and Language UK, a charity that works to support 'every child who is facing challenges with talking and understanding words, [supporting them] so that they can look to the future with confidence.'
Students were able to make a small donation if they wished and we raised £90 for the cause. We hope to celebrate the day across more departments, helping to support young people across the UK so 'they aren't left behind, waiting to be understood'.
