Cuffley Camp 2022
BackAfter being stuck in bubbles and restrictions for the best part of 2 years, 70 intrepid Year 9 pupils and 4 less intrepid teachers marched out to Cuffley Camp for lessons in outdoor survival and team building.
Not only did the pupils have to build camp fires to cook but they had to wash and dry up after every meal. The pupils made shelters, eat mealworms, use new first aid skills on plane crash survivors (the teachers) and navigate the woods at night.
Most importantly the main aim of Cuffley was for the pupils to bond, explore and play together away from the pressures of school and social media.
Pupils and teachers alike came back tired but more resilient to tackle the challenge of year 10 and their GCSE course.
