Rounders

Congratulations to the Year 9 rounders team on their highly successful season! Achieving five wins out of five matches is a remarkable accomplishment. Special recognition goes to Alana Novika for her outstanding rounders scoring, totalling 11 rounders throughout the games. Ashley Gallanetto’s excellent performance in the backstop position and Milana's dedication to playing shortstop (as well as being the most improved player of the season) are truly commendable. Well done to all the girls on a fantastic season, and best of luck for next year.

Year 7 rounders team had a promising start to their sporting careers! Holly Kavanagh's skills as a bowler and her ability to coordinate the team during fielding is commendable. Lola Ashford's natural ability as a shortstop and Amy Gallanetto’s performance as a backstop position demonstrate their talent. It's also wonderful to know that the majority of the team showed excellent batting skills and scored numerous rounders. Whilst the season had a mixed set of results, it's all part of the learning process, and the loss against Sanders Draper can be seen as a valuable experience to grow from. Keep up the great work, and best of luck for future games.
