AX Dance Company, a group of extremely talented Yr10 and Yr11 dancers travelled to the Copperbox Arena to compete at the London Youth Games.

AX Dance Company had already won the borough category and continued to gain 'Top 10' status in the next round, competing against the 32 London Boroughs to reach the final at the Copperbox Arena, London on Friday 30th June.

The competition was fierce, with 10 troupes competing, and with a variety of styles performed.  Only 9 points separated 1st and 10th place, with Abbs Cross Academy and Arts College, representing the borough of Havering finishing in 5th place overall.

As an academy we are extremely proud of AX Dance Company: dancers put their heart and soul into rehearsals and performances, and have dedicated out of lesson time to collaboratively create and piece together the choreography of 'Earthquake', demonstrating excellent commitment, dedication and professionalism.
