Introduction to Choir
BackThe Abbs Cross Academy Choir has been growing in numbers this term!
We have welcomed keen Year 7 students and our GCSE Year 10 Music students have been co- leading rehearsals. The choir has demonstrated how to warm up correctly, sing with clear diction and develop a higher pitch range.
They have been learning the song 'Yellow' by Coldplay. Students of all years have been learning how to sing in three part harmony and are keen to develop this skill with new vocal arrangements in the near future.
If you wish to join the choir, it is run on a Wednesday lunchtime in the Music department - you can see the Abbs Cross Academy Choir performing at the Winter Showcase in November.
