We celebrated Science Week this year with 2 weeks of experiments. Our students made slime, tested the Physics understanding of centripetal force and had to design a vessel to protect their eggs from a 2.5M drop off of the canopy roof! Our keen bakers were also out in full force this year, with some wonderful baked creations. Our winners in Year 8 made a Toxic Waste design cake

We visited the following places:

  • Lion King Theatre Trip –

On 7th March the Performing Arts Department took the students who participated in our Oliver Jr! School production to see The Lion King at the Lyceum theatre as a reward for all their hard work for the show. The students were blown away by the creativity of the staging, set and costume design and lots of discussions were had on the way home about inspiration for our next show.
